The inaugural poet of this series, Li-Young Lee, returns to celebrate the Tenth Annual Caesar and Patricia Tabet Poetry Reading.
The son of Chinese exiles, Lee’s five books of poetry contain influences from classical Chinese poets and Christianity to the Wu-Tang Clan. His widely anthologized poem “Persimmons” is just one of many award-winning poems in this scintillating speaker’s portfolio.
This reading is made possible through the generous support of Dominican University alumna Patricia Tabet ’52. Co-presented by the St. Catherine of Siena Center and the English Department of Dominican University’s Rosary College of Arts and Sciences.
